The majority of these books I have read and some are on my TBR pile still because I am waiting to be in the mood for a tear jerking kind of book.  The ones I have read had me thinking about them even months after finishing it.

8.  Crank by Ellen Hopkins (Drugs)

9.  Impulse by Ellen Hopkins (Suicide)

10.  Tricks by Ellen Hopkins (Prostitution/teens)
