For twenty-one-year-old Sydney, being in love with Kyler isn't anything new. They'd been best friends ever since he pushed her down on the playground and she made him eat a mud pie. Somewhere over the years, she fell for him and fell hard. The big problem with that? Kyler puts the 'man' in man-whore. He's never stayed with a girl longer than a few nights, and with it being their last year in college, Syd doesn't want to risk their friendship by declaring her love.

Kyler has always put Syd on a pedestal that was too high for him to reach. To him, she's perfect and she's everything. But the feelings he has for her, he's always hidden away or focused on any other female. After all, Kyler will always be the poor boy from the wrong side of tracks, and Syd will always be the one girl he can never have.

But when they're stranded together at a posh ski resort due to a massive Nor'easter, there's nothing stopping their red-hot feelings for each other from coming to the surface. Can their friendship survive the attraction? Better yet, can they survive at all? Because as the snow falls, someone is stalking them, and this ski trip may be a life-changer in more ways than one.

Ms. Jennifer Armentrout has done it again.  Frigid was absolutely amazing!  I love the way that Jennifer creates great love stories. The chemistry between the two characters feel so real that it literally makes your heart palpitate, especially, in those "really hot" scenes.  I love it when a book does that!

Sydney and Kyler have been friends since they were in elementary school.  Ever since Sydney made Kyler eat a mud pie, she was madly in love with him, unfortunately Sydney never expressed to Kyler how she really felt.  Kyler has always felt like Sydney was too good for him.  Especially, since he has never had a "real" girlfriend.  It's always been one night stands for him for as long as he can remember.  The sad part is that Sydney has always been by his side and therefore seen all the girls that Kyler has "hooked up" with.  It's sort of messed up when you see the love of your life sleep with every girl that he meets and yet, he has never looked at you, or given you the hint that he sees you in any other way, other than just friends.  These feelings finally come out one day when they drive up to their yearly trip to posh ski resort.  Unfortunately, their friends, who were driving up their too, had to turn around because there was a crazy snowstorm coming and they didn’t want to get stuck driving in it.  So as you guessed it, Sydney and Kyler are snowed in with no electricity and nowhere to go and nothing to do.  So you know something is bound to happen between them and boy does that something turn out to be hot and steamy! Now things start to get weird when a window shatters and it seems like someone must have shot at it while they were in front of it.  But who would want to shoot them?  Could it have been a hunter shooting at its target, but accidently shot the window?  I guess you will have to read Frigid and find out.

Jennifer will make you laugh, cry and tingly all inside as soon as you start reading Frigid.  I just cannot get enough of her writing. The characters are well developed and you instantly fall in love with them.  I have a feeling that there will be a book two in the future and I have an idea on who it will be about.  So, if you are in the mood for a little romance and some mystery, I strongly recommend you read Frigid.   I promise you that you will not be disappointed.
