I grab her exploring finger just as it reaches my happy trail—a trail that if I let her wander down further will lead us to do things we can’t take back. Things like three-word phrases being confessed that would end me if I was rejected. Things like selfishly wanting to own her body and doing things to her that would make my fantasies blush. And things like making her promises too soon that won’t do either of us any good. She makes me want a future that’s not possible, and one I don’t deserve. Listening to my ego got me into this situation. Will listening to my heart get me out?I am a lover of cute and awesome covers, that's just my thing. That's the main reason why I wanted to pick up Good Vibrations. The light colors, the beach vibe, and the amazing description pulled me in. I went through a mental battle on whether to buy it or not because it wasn't on my list for books at Book Bash, but I gave in when I got the opportunity to meet the author.
Mallory is a college student that decides to take a vacation during the summer. What better place for her to vacation at than Hawaii where her best friend Sunny lives. Sunny was supposed to pick up Mallory from the airport, but something came up last minute that Sunny couldn't make it. This is where she meets Evan a drop dead gorgeous guy, who is totally full of himself. Evan is not a “one” girl type of guy and he definitely doesn't fall in love. He meets Mallory who is not only a hot girl, but smart, independent, and something that Evan had never experienced.
I had a huge problem with Mallory. I didn't find her character strong or worthy of an MC. She was so obvious and undecided. Evan on other hand, I was really amazed at how well developed his character was. Evan just has the most hot, sexy and adorable moments in the book, I just love him.
Good Vibrations was good, but it didn't amaze me or surprise me, it was very predictable. If it wasn't for those adorable Evan moments, I honestly would have given up. Those tiny moments made my heart skip a beat. The relationship between the main characters is cute and really hot.
