Chad Gamble, all-star pitcher for the Nationals, is one of the best players on—and off—the field. And right now, the notorious bad boy wants Bridget Rodgers. But with her lush curves and snappy comebacks, the feisty redhead is the kind of woman a man wants to settle down with…and that’s the last thing Chad needs.

When the paparazzi catch them in a compromising position, Chad’s manager issues an ultimatum: clean up his act or kiss his multi-million dollar contract goodbye. To save his career, his meddling publicist says he'll have to convince everyone Bridget isn’t just his flavor of the week, but his girlfriend.

Being blackmailed into a fake relationship with Chad Gamble isn’t easy, especially when the sizzling physical attraction between them is undeniable. With a month to go on their arranged pretense, it's going to take every ounce of willpower they have not to fall into bed together...or in love.

Holy Guacamole! I absolutely loved Tempting The Player! It had me from Chapter 1. I devoured this book in one sitting. I couldn't put it down and from time to time I wanted to shut down the real world and jump inside the story and live there. I am a huge fan of Jennifer L. Armentrout/J. Lynn, I love the easiness with which she creates characters that you can't help but fall in love with. This book was a roller coaster of emotions, sexy, hot and funny. I feel that I read this book at the perfect time because I needed to get my mind off things and simply relax and this was a great choice.
Bridget, our main character is sweet, smart and beautiful even though she doesn't think she is all that. She works at a museum and is your typical history nerd with a crazy sense of fashion, the girl seriously love colors! What I love about her is that she is not your typical walking-stick character, she has curves and she knows how to use them to her advantage. Chad Gamble, Oh My God, is absolutely HOT and he is very aware of it. He is a all-star baseball player, well we can say that he is a player in and out of the field, the guy is a manwhore or so everyone thinks. I love him, all of him. He sure knows how to drive any woman crazy with desire and lust.
“There isn’t a ‘but’ in this.” He cupped her cheek, tilting her head back. When he spoke, his lips brushed hers. “I want you. Bad. Right now. Against the wall. On my bed. The floor and maybe in the bathroom later. I have a shower stall and a Jacuzzi we could put to really good use. I know you’d like it.”
Oh yeah, who would want that? I know I do!
Bridget and Chad's story was a little predictable but I was still hooked. This story made me feel all type of feelings; I never wanted it to end because I wanted to keep reading all this sexiness. J. Lynn never stop amusing me, she is a master at creating sexual tension between her characters. The chemistry that the main characters share is palpable; there is so much going on between them that they can light a forest on fire. Chad made me feel crazy with desire, I want one of him, but one can only dream *le sigh*. The sex scenes were of Ah-some, hot and sizzling, it could make you want to take a cold shower after them.

Overall I enjoy this book, more than I did with Tempting The Best Man. We get a lot more sexiness here and I am happy with that. The characters were realistic enough and the plot of the story was good. This is the type of story that you wish it ends with a happily ever after. So, my fellow lovely readers, grab a copy and read it, because you’re in for a treat, a really good one!
