Some things are worth waiting for…

Traveling thousands of miles from home to enter college is the only way nineteen-year-old Avery Morgansten can escape what happened at the Halloween party five years ago—an event that forever changed her life. All she needs to do is make it to her classes on time, make sure the bracelet on her left wrist stays in place, not draw any attention to herself, and maybe—please God—make a few friends, because surely that would be a nice change of pace. The one thing she didn’t need and never planned on was capturing the attention of the one guy who could shatter the precarious future she’s building for herself.

Some things are worth experiencing…

Cameron Hamilton is six feet and three inches of swoon-worthy hotness, complete with a pair of striking blue eyes and a remarkable ability to make her want things she believed were irrevocably stolen from her. She knows she needs to stay away from him, but Cam is freaking everywhere, with his charm, his witty banter, and that damn dimple that’s just so… so lickable. Getting involved with him is dangerous, but when ignoring the simmering tension that sparks whenever they are around each other becomes impossible, he brings out a side of her she never knew existed.

Some things should never be kept quiet…

But when Avery starts receiving threatening emails and phone calls forcing her to face a past she wants silenced, she’s has no other choice but to acknowledge that someone is refusing to allow her to let go of that night when everything changed. When the devastating truth comes out, will she resurface this time with one less scar? And can Cam be there to help her or will he be dragged down with her?

And some things are worth fighting for…

J. Lynn does it again! She is the master of creating swoony and panty-dropping guys! She manages to captivate me every time with her characters. J. Lynn can write a food menu and I will gladly read it.  I just love her writing! Ok, ok, let me calm down now. This book is AH-some on so many levels.  This is a read-in-one-sitting book. It’s a combination of amazing plot, great main characters and supporting characters. Wait For You will trap you and won't let you go until you are done!

Avery wants nothing more than to run away from her past. She decides to go to a college that is as far as she can get from her home town.  She wants to forget her old life, her critical parents and the terrible experience she had. Avery thinks that her secret is safe.  She is going to a new school and is trying to find new friends. But when her first day of school starts with her running late to class and practically smacking into the most wanted bachelor in school, Cam, all of her plans go downhill from there. Staying under the radar is not an option anymore because Cam is mildly obsessed about going out with her. Cam, sexy, hot, flirtatious guy, wants nothing more than get to know her. But Avery doesn't want anything to do with a guy. Will he wait for her forever?

Avery, our main character, is really sweet but she has this big secret which is hunting her. She doesn't want to get close to anyone due to her fears of spilling her secret. Now, while I really like her, there were times that she was really annoying and stubborn. She would hide inside of this bubble instead of approaching her problems and speaking with the truth. She has really good friends and a great guy that want it to support her. Speaking of a guy, Cam! Oh My Cam. He is absolutely gorgeous, smart, sexy, hot, confident, funny, the list goes on forever! He is the type of guy that a girl can be proud to bring home to show mom and dad. What I like about their relationship is how it developed.  It was never rush or that insta-love.  Oh, and you know that we all read J. Lynn’s books hoping for some smexy action, well this book will not disappoint you in that department. There were a few scenes that had me gasping and grasping my clothes *wink wink*.

The plot of the story is good, there were a few twists that I did not see coming. This book is emotional and beautiful and it will have you laughing, swooning, crying and wishing for a guy like Cam *le sigh*. I learned from Avery that you have to find the person that is worth facing your problems and fears instead of running away from them. I truly enjoyed this one and all I can say is that cookies will never be the same for me (in a good way). If you don't have a copy of Wait For You, I suggest you go grab one really fast and read it.  Now, go go go!
