There are constant stories about celebrities getting married, having kids, etc. for publicity. I mean I'm a normal girl, but if one of the hottest quarterbacks in the league came up to me and purpose that I be his "fake" wife. I wouldn't even think twice about it! I think that type of opportunity comes along once in a life time! 

Sheridan Harper is struggling to keep her grandmother’s gallery afloat.  Jared Quinn is the star quarterback for the San Jose Hawks.  Jared doesn't necessarily have the best image right now since he was said to be the one man who broke off a marriage (not true by the way). The team publicist has come up with a brilliant idea; get Jared a pretend wife.  So when Jared happens to meet Sheridan at an event, the two seem to hit it off. One thing leads to another and they find themselves having one heck of a one night stand or so Sheridan thought.  Not only does Jared show up the next day, but he shows up with Harvey the Hawks publicist. Talk about getting the shock of your life! Let's add to the fact that Harvey has just offered her to be Jared's "pretend" wife for a year and in return they will help her out financially. Sheridan knows it sounds insane, but she doesn't want to lose her grandmother’s studio and it will only be for one year. Besides her heart, what does she have to lose? 

Steamy and hot. Those two words best describe the relationship between Jared and Sheridan. Right from the start, the chemistry between the two just jumped off of the pages. The eternal struggle to stay away from one another after having an explosive time in bed is all types of hard.  I loved seeing both Jared and Sheridan try to stay away from one another, but that pull could not keep them away.  If you would like to get your very own football star, than I can say the closest you will ever come to actually having one, is with this book. Jared Quinn makes one heck of a book "husband". ;)
