It's a beautiful day for a war.
As the mortal world slowly slips into chaos of the godly kind, Alexandria Andros must overcome a stunning defeat that has left her shaken and in doubt of their ability to end this war once and for all.
And with all the obstacles between Alex and her happily-ever-after with the swoonworthy Aiden St. Delphi, they must now trust a deadly foe as they travel deep into the Underworld to release one of the most dangerous gods of all time.
In the stunning, action-packed climax to the bestselling Covenant series, Alex must face a terrible choice: the destruction of everything and everyone she holds dear… or the end of herself.
I seriously think I have a crush on
JLA. There isn’t a book by her that I don’t love. Reading Sentinel
was bitter sweet. I knew going in that whatever happened in this book,
was it, no more waiting for another book. So with that said, I absolutely
loved the way she ended the series. She absolutely hit this one out of
the ball park. There is just the right amount of romance, action,
suspense and surprises to keep you flipping each page with anticipation as to
what will happen next. I just couldn’t get enough of it.
** Spoilers for those who haven’t read
this series **
If you have read my previous review on
this series, you will know that I totally love Aiden and hate Seth and before
reading Sentinel, I was totally Team Aiden, but after reading Sentinel, I am
seriously both! We all know how evil Seth has been and the harm he has done is
pretty hard to ignore, but In Sentinel, he totally makes up for all of
that. I am not going to tell you what, but I will say to get a box of
tissues ready because you will need it.
Alex and Aiden are one of my favorite
couples ever. Alex is such a strong character and isn’t afraid to say
what’s on her mind. She has a great sense of humor and so sarcastic that
makes me love her even more. She has a lot of pressure on her and how she
stays sane, is beyond me, but I am sure that Aiden has something to do with it.
If Aiden was next to me when the whole world is on the verge of collapsing,
I think I would be pretty cool too. He just has that je
ne sais qua about
him. *sigh*
There is so much going on in Sentinel that you just wont be able to put the book down for a second. Since its the last book in the series, you know that everything has to die together and hope for a HEA. Well, lets just say that Jennifer did NOT disappoint. Sentinel is AH-MAZING!!! So for all of you paranormal, greek mythology lovers out there, I STRONLY, STRONLY, suggest you go out and start reading this series. And for those of you have have been putting off reading Sentinel, I don't know why, but I assure you, you will fall in love with it.

Here are the other books in the series. Get them NOW!!!
OOoooh GREAT review!! I am sooooo looking forward to this one! Things are kind of hectic right now and before all that I was in the midst of an ebook challenge and this series--along with 95% of the rest of my reads--is one that I must have physical copies for! So I have it, I just gotta wait til December 1 (tentatively) until I can read it! But you better believe that it will be my first read of December! Once again, great review!
ReplyDeleteAnd did you happen to read JLA's blog post from this past Sunday?! There's more AH-MAZING news!
YES!!!! OMG I cannot wait to see what plans for Seth! My poor Seth :(
DeleteI love to hear when authors hit it out of the park with the final book in a series. It seems to happen so rarely.
