Madison Daniels has worshiped her brother's best friend since they were kids. Everyone thinks she and Chase Gamble would make the perfect couple, but there are two major flaws in their logic. 1) Chase has sworn off relationships of any kind, and 2) after blurring the line between friends and lovers for one night four years ago, they can't stop bickering.
Forced together for her brother's wedding getaway, Chase and Madison decide to call a truce for the happy couple. Except all bets are off when they're forced to shack up in a tacky 70's honeymoon suite and survive a multitude of "accidents" as the family tries to prove their "spark" can be used than for more than fighting. That is, if they don't strangle each other first…
This is another good story by J.
Lynn. It was interesting enough to keep
me turning pages. What I love about it is that it makes you wish that you were
living inside the book (because reality sucks!). Maddie and Chase are awesome
main characters and I enjoyed the chemistry between them.
Maddie and Chase have been friends forever but neither of them want to admit the mutual attraction for each other. They go on assuming that they can be just friends when deep down they want to get all freaky together. I like Maddie, for some reason I felt very connected with her, I loved the way she projected herself. As for Chase Gamble, he is one piece of sexy man, really hot and full of muscle (I love muscles!) No woman can ever resist a man like him and Maddie is no exception. They got stuck in a lot of sticky situations that led them to confusions and misunderstandings. That is one thing that bothered me, the not-enough-communication part and this lead up to a whole big mess.
I am really glad that J. Lynn writes these types of books. Her way of creating a story is marvelous and she definitely knows how to use words that in real life would make us cringe. This story is not long but it gives enough to love it. Is super sexy, there are some scenes that are going to make you fan yourself. I think the plot was well developed and the characters were believable.
The romance, the spiciness and sexiness
of the story are amazing, this is read-in-one-seating and
prepare-to-take-a-cold-shower type of book. I am really pleased with it and I
will be reading more about this Gamble brothers. If you are a fan of NA, this
book is for you.
This sounds like a fun book. I am a fan of romances that take place at weddings.
