~ Daisel's Best Reads of 2013 ~

I can say that this year was a successful reading year. Making the choosing for this post was not easy for me because there were some amazing books that I've read and all of them did not fit in this post. Here is my top ten favorite (in no particular order). I hope that 2014 bring us many great books

Daughter Of Smoke & Bone by Laini Taylor
This has to be one of the most amazing books that I've read. The author did a tremendous job with the story and the world building. I absolutely love all the characters. I can’t wait to read the other two books in this marvelous series.

Through The Ever Night by Veronica Rossi.

I absolutely love V. Rossi, her books transport me to a different world. Imagining her story in my head is what makes me love this so much and also Perry, got to love this guy! Oh! and Roar too!

Legend by Marie Lu.

Now, here we have a really good dystopian story. I am in love with June & Day, with the plot, with the world, with the story itself. This is a must read and I am glad I read it.

If I Should Die by Amy Plum.
I literally die when I was able to get my hands in an ARC for this book! I was devastated when I finished Until I Die, I cry and moped for weeks, I was a hot mess! But but it was all well worth it, I have ti say I am happy how all this ended.

Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi
Be steady my heart! This book is AMAZING! I love it, all the feels and Chapter 62 *cough*. All I can I say is that I am waiting for Ignite Me with a mighty passion!

Boundless by Cynthia Hand.

Oh My Tucker, how much I miss you. This was one of the books that I most anticipated this year, it was worth the wait but it is sad that to say good-bye to all those wonderful characters.

Wild Cards by Simone Elkeles.

I am a huge fan of Simone's work. She writes beautiful. I adore her stories and this one was one that captivated my heart.
Crash Into You by Katie McGarry.
Now, will you take a look at that cover! This book is amazing in so many levels. Isaiah, I love him to death and I want to keep him all to myself.

Pawn by Aimee Carter.

Total surprise with this book, I was not expecting so much! It is amazing, new and refreshing. It is well worth it of a spot on my list. I am really excited to see how the author continues this story.

Catching Liam by Gennifer Albin.
NA was a big genre for me this year, I discovered a lot of good books and new authors. This was one of them, I loved the story and Liam. It was really good and it melted my heart.

  1. Isn't it so hard to pick the best books of the year? I had a hard time, too! The Legend series is definitely something on my TBR priority list in 2014! I have been putting it off for too long considering the great reviews on it! I enjoyed your post! :)
