Take A Chance is the first book I have read by Abbi Glines.  I have a few of her books on my book shelf that I got signed last year at Book Bash and I seriously need to start reading too.  Andy and Katering, two of our owls, are HUGE fans of everything Abbi, so when I was given the chance to read Take A Chance, I knew I had to take the plunge and boy am I glad I did.  Even though Take A Chance can be read as a stand alone, I suggest you read the previous 5 books just so you have a better feel for the characters.  Don't get me wrong, I loved the characters, well all except for one, but I am sure you will feel the same way if you read Take A Chance or if you've read the previous books.  

Harlow's father is a famous rockstar, but she is totally different from him and her other siblings. She is sweet, fragile and innocent.  Her sister, Nanette, is horrible and just plain mean. Unfortunately, their father has to go on tour and Harlow is forced to live with Nan in Florida, this is something Harlow is not looking forward to. That's where she "runs into" Grant again after they had hooked up. Poor Harlow is heartbroken and just tries to brush it off, but it stings knowing that your sister is sleeping with the only man you have ever had feelings for. 

Abbi leaves us hanging, which I 've heard she loves to do. LOL  I can't wait to read the next installment and see what happens with Grant and Harlow!
