Samantha is a stranger in her own life. Until the night she disappeared with her best friend, Cassie, everyone said Sam had it all-popularity, wealth, and a dream boyfriend.Sam has resurfaced, but she has no recollection of who she was or what happened to her that night. As she tries to piece together her life from before, she realizes it's one she no longer wants any part of. The old Sam took "mean girl" to a whole new level, and it's clear she and Cassie were more like best enemies. Sam is pretty sure that losing her memories is like winning the lottery. She's getting a second chance at being a better daughter, sister, and friend, and she's falling hard for Carson Ortiz, a boy who has always looked out for her-even if the old Sam treated him like trash. But Cassie is still missing, and the facts about what happened to her that night isn't just buried deep inside of Sam's memory-someone else knows, someone who wants to make sure Sam stays quiet. All Sam wants is the truth, and if she can unlock her clouded memories of that fateful night, she can finally move on. But what if not remembering is the only thing keeping Sam alive?
When I first heard that Jen was releasing this book I knew it was going to be mind blowing. We did the cover reveal for it a few months back and I was thrown back by how cool it was. Look how everything moves, too cool!!
I am a HUGE JLA fan and I will continue to read ANYTHING she writes. I absolutely love her and the stories that she comes up with are nothing less then amazing.
Don't look back was AMAZING!!!!! I can't stop thinking about everything that happened in this story. I am one of those readers that if I am reading a mystery book, I will spend the whole time trying to figure out who did it. I am glad to say that I couldn't figure this one out. Just when I thought I knew who it was, I was thrown a curve ball and I had to start analyzing everything again. Well, I think Carson had something to do with that. He was so sweet and all kinds of hot that I just couldn't focus. Believe me I am not complaining at all. Carson was well worth it. He was just so perfect and dreamy. Jen really has a talent coming up with these amazingly hot characters. THANK YOU!!!
Samantha (Sam) the main female character has resurfaced with no memory after being lost for a few day. She keeps having these visions which she can't tell if they are memories or just bad dreams of that night when her best friend, Cassie was last seen. As days go by, she realizes that she, Cassie and her "little friends" weren't the nicest people, more like the Mean Girls of their school.
So my dear friends, I can not recommend Don't Look Back enough. Everything about it will draw you and each page will have you either on the edge of your seat or wishing that Carson was real (hehe). Thank Jen, you are seriously talented and keep writing because I will continue buying and reading your books.
