When Abbi isn’t locked away in her office typing away she is hauling her kids to and from their many social activities. You could say her second job is the Glines Kids personal chauffeur. It’s a rather illustrious job

Q. With the Rosemary Beach characters, you've been taking us on one heck of a ride. I don't think anyone expected what happens at the end of Simple Perfection. Was that always what you envisioned would happen or were you as blind to it as we were?

When I introduced Tripp in Twisted Perfection, his storyline immediately hit me. I knew then what would have to happen and where it was going. Writing it was hard. I won't lie. I cried while writing it and even had to walk away more than once. I am as attached to these characters as the readers are. But the setup is going to make a really good story for Tripp.

Q. In total, how many books do you plan to write for both the Sea Breeze & Rosemary Beach series, and whose stories will we be getting?
Sea Breeze will finish up with with nine books. The ninth book being a book of novellas for each couple. I expect it to release in the fall 2014.

Rosemary Beach has no end in sight at the moment. I know for sure that Tripp will get a book, Mase will get two books. What I am considering is Thad getting two books, Captain getting a book or two, Cain even possibly finding his way to Rosemary Beach and getting a story and then... Nan may just get her own story. Redeeming her might be my biggest challenge yet.

Q. Krit's book Bad For You is up next and then Rush Too Far in May. Can you tell us a little about what to expect from both?
I am in love with Krit. I never fall in love with my characters. Ever. But I am in love with Krit. Bad For You is Sea Breeze #7 but it can be easily read as a standalone. Krit is a complex character that has a unique personality. It's almost what you would have seen from Rush had you seen into his head in Fallen Too Far... oh wait. You will see into Rush's head in Fallen Too Far. Because Rush Too Far will be just that: Rush's side of the story. In my opinion Rush Too Far is a better book than Fallen Too Far. My writing is better a year later and the depth of emotions that Rush exhibits brings out some surprising moments you never knew happened.

Q. Existence was the first of many books I've read of yours. Hi Dank <3 Would you ever consider writing paranormal again?

Yes. One day I do intend to write another paranormal. But right now I am in deep and locked in with the contemporary romance genre.

Q. If you could travel back in time to 2011, what advice would you give yourself?

Don't use a small indie publisher, you're just sharing your income with them. They do nothing for you. If you can't get one of the big five (back then big six), just self-publish your first book. Oh, and don't be afraid of writing sex, you're actually kind of good at it. LOL. Two things I wish I'd known.

Q. Out of all the characters you've written, who's your favorite and why?

This is difficult for me because I am torn between two. I have a female favorite and a male favorite when it comes to writing them.
Male: Cage York is just fun to write. He has been since I introduced him in Because Of Low. I love writing Cage. He makes me smile.
Female: Harlow Manning wins this by a land slide. She's different and complex. She doesn't act like a dramatic female, but when she does have a moment she lets it go. Like the kitchen counter scene in Take A Chance ;)
