New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Cora Carmack follows up her trio of hits—Losing It, Faking It, and Finding It—with this thrilling first novel in an explosive series bursting with the Texas flavor, edge, and steamy romance of Friday Night Lights. In Texas, two things are cherished above all else—football and gossip. My life has always been ruled by both. Dallas Cole loathes football. That's what happens when you spend your whole childhood coming in second to a sport. College is her time to step out of the bleachers, and put the playing field (and the players) in her past. But life doesn't always go as planned. As if going to the same college as her football star ex wasn't bad enough, her father, a Texas high school coaching phenom, has decided to make the jump to college ball… as the new head coach at Rusk University. Dallas finds herself in the shadows of her father and football all over again. Carson McClain is determined to go from second-string quarterback to the starting line-up. He needs the scholarship and the future that football provides. But when a beautiful redhead literally falls into his life, his focus is more than tested. It's obliterated. Dallas doesn't know Carson is on the team. Carson doesn't know that Dallas is his new coach's daughter. And neither of them know how to walk away from the attraction they feel.

If you don't already know I'm kind of obsessed with everything Cora writes. I mean she could write me directions to the nearest train station and I would still love it. Lol! Honestly if you haven't gotten a chance to read her Losing It series go do it right this very second. Well let's finish reading my review first than we can get to that later. ;) I honestly have never looked forward to a book as much as I had with All Lined Up. I mean hello that description and anything that gets compared to Friday Night Lights is sure to be all types of epic! I'm happy to say that All Lined Up lived up to my expectations.

The only thing Dallas has ever wanted is to get away from anything football related. It. They say college is where you go to get away from it all and start fresh. That doesn't necessarily go as planned. Her father, a football coach, has decided to take the new position of head coach at her new school.  Football, ex-boyfriend, frat parties, dance, and a crazy best friend. Oh and did I forget to mention an extremely good looking hot guy?

The characters are the one thing that stuck with me. It was so easy to fall in love with them. Dallas is such an amazing character. The emotions you feel from her are relatable . The chemistry between Dallas and Carson is simply electrifying! From the moment they met you just felt the electricity between the two. Even though we only get a little time with Stella I have to say she is by far my favorite!

I love the relationship between her and Dallas. I mean their Stamp of Approval/Disapproval has already been implanted into my life. Girls night out has taken on a whole new meaning because of Stella lol! I swear I devoured All Lined Up in mere hours that’s how much I loved. I cannot recommend this book enough. Awkward moments and all! ;)
