Olivia Warren used to be a normal girl with a bright future. But on one fated night, everything changed.

Hiding the scars of her past up her sleeves, Olivia transfers her enrollment from Columbia University to The College of Charleston, determined to pursue her own dreams for the first time in her life.

She intends to allow herself a bit of alone time to heal... that is, until she meets Preston.

Preston is best friends with her roommate, completely hot, and off-limits. But the chemistry between them is instantaneous—and as the pair begins to spend more time with one another, their feelings for each other build into something undeniable, something powerful enough to heal Olivia’s deepest scars.

Olivia tries to put her own past behind her and trust Preston, but she discovers that his past might be more present than she ever bargained for…
You know that moment when you go into a book knowing it's going to be great. . . Well, Pieces of Olivia exceeded those expectations with flying colors. I was blown away by this stories depth and true-ness. Death is never easy, it leaves us hollow and struggling to make sense of our lives.

Olivia isn't someone that hasn't had it easy. She's still recovering from the loss of that terrible accident and ever since she keeps people at arm's length. She remembers that night every day, it hits her the worst when she goes to parties. So for reasons, you'll find out in a few more days because hello you MUST buy this book, she hires a therapist.

Melissa West captures the stages of grief in its truest form with Pieces of Olivia. You see denial, anger, depression, and most of all hurt. You see Olivia hanging on by a thread and trying to overcome the guilt she feels everyday. And slowly but surely she starts opening up to people again with the help of Rose and Preston. And I have to admit this, I cheered for Olivia every time she opened up to them. I mean despite everything, Olivia kept going; she's a fighter that one.

Oh Preston, Melissa is right, he's all kinds of swoon worthiness and more. All I know is that I want to hire Preston so he can teach me how to fish.

This story and characters have found a special way into my heart and I can't thank Melissa enough for writing it. Pieces of Olivia will leave you feeling HOPE  by the end of this book!
