We got a glimpse of Jax and Dani in Dearest Clementine so color me surprised when it was time for their story. And I knew as soon as I got my hands on Finding Dandelion that I was going to be in for a treat. Boy was I treated.

Lex Martin does it again, she hooked me right from the start with that prologue. BEST PROLOGUE EVER. I mean I was totally thinking naughty things and I'll leave it at that.

Dani has always been labeled the nice girl and she wants to change that. So she's makes this list to get her more out there and along the way she learns that being who you really are is okay. Guys, I love Dani, shes an amazing character with a good heart. Dani inspired me with the way she carried herself in hard times. PAINFUL HARD TIMES. Yet they shaped her up to be this character who has immense strength and is willing to give second chances. I might have a girl crush on Dani, I blame you Lex.

Now onto Jax. Plain and simple, he's an ass, a sexy ass, but an ass with a heart. Jax is imperfectly perfect, he is who he is and that had a lot to do with his past. I loved seeing him evolve into this great, swoon worthy character. He's just like Clem in a way, he's had this wall built around him for so long that I was afraid it would never crack. But crack it did. Don't get me wrong they were moments I wanted to strangle him for being an idiot but then I would swoon and my hands would go away.

Dani and Jax have both trust issues when it comes to the opposite sex. But together they brought out the best in each other. Jax made Dani feel like she could be herself and Dani made Jax feel like he could trust again. I loved how far they've come since the first couple chapters. Their growth throughout this story is what makes everything even more special.

And don't even get my started on that sizzling chemistry. Hot damn those pages were on fire. I'm talking about melt-my-panties-off-FIRE.

Finding dandelion is so much more emotionally intense than I expected and yet I'm head over heels for these characters. Lex is an amazing author. She has a way with words that as a reader you feel connected to the story because it feels so realistic. She pulled out so many feels in me, I emailed her every time something incredible or sad happened.

If you wanted more of Jax and Dani in Dearest Clementine, your wish has been granted. Be prepared to fall in love with their "volcanic" story.
