A missed first encounter.....
Colliding with a second chance.....
On the heels of graduating college and trying to cope with her mother's death, Emily Cooper moves to New York City for a fresh start.
While harboring secrets of his own, Dillon Parker takes care of Emily through her grief. Knowing he can't live without her by his side, he's sweet, thoughtful, and everything Emily has ever wanted in a man.
Until she meets Gavin Blake-a rich and notorious playboy who is dangerously sexy and charming as hell. Emily tries to deny the instant connection she feels, but Mr. Tall, Dark, and Handsome is not inclined to let go so easily. Recovering from his own painful past, Gavin will stop at nothing to win Emily over.
This unexpected encounter compels Emily to question her decisions, forcing her to make a choice that will destroy friendships, shatter hearts, and forever change her life.

Sooooooo, Gavin Blake, yes, lets talk about Mr. Tall, Dark, F***able and Handsome! He is hot. Very hot. He's pretty much everything we want in a man all wrapped in one big, hot, sexy package! Can you tell I fell for him? LOL  So now comes Dillon, yeah, I don't like him.  Something about him didn't rub me the right way from the very beginning.  I really loved Collide, but I had a little issue with it, Emily Cooper, the heroine.  OMG this girl was killing me towards the end! Maybe it's just me, but when something happens, I want answers, I don't just run.  I understand why she ran, but still. *le sigh*  Emily never stood up for herself.  Dillon treated her horribly and she just took it.  (After reading book 2, I realize why she was like that, but it was really hard to relate to her and get past that.

Emily's life has been turned upside down.  Her mother passed away from cancer and she has decided to move to New York with her college roommate, to start a new life.  Her boyfriend, Dillon lives in New York also, and was there for her and her mother during their hardest times.  Then one day, Emily meets "Blake, Gavin Blake." (hehe) Neither of them can deny the attraction between them, but things get complicated when they realize that they have one person in common....Dillon.  Gavin and Dillon are friends, like, pretty good friends. But soon Emily and Gavin's attraction is starting to head toward dangerous territory.

Even though I really don't like reading about love triangles, Gail defiantly made this one stand out.   Overall I really loved reading Collide and I can not wait to start reading Pulse, book 2.
