When Lucy wakes up in a frozen forest, she isn't sure why she's there, until she sees Colin.
Colin has captivated half the girls at Saint Osanna's, but no one has ever snared his fascination the way Lucy does. Even as Lucy begins to remember the details of her life–and her death–neither of them is willing to give up what they have, no matter how impossible it seems.
An adrenaline junkie, Colin begins taking himself to the brink of death, where their realities overlap–and discovers that he can physically be with Lucy. But maybe some lines shouldn't be crossed.
I feel horrible for giving Sublime two owls, but I have to be honest.  I had such high hopes for this book since I adore the authors.  Unfortunately, the story just fell short for me.  The cover is the one thing I instantly fell in love with; it's so beautiful and it really depicts the characters.

Lucy wakes up in a forest with no memory on how she got there or who she is.  As she is walking, she realizes that she is in a boarding school.  She sees all the students walking by, but none of them really look at her. Its like she is invisible.  Colin is what I call a dare-devil.  He always wants new adventures that lets him stare death in the face.  Luckily for him, the worst he's ended up with are a few broken bones and some cuts and bruises.  Then Lucy and Colin meet there is an instant attraction and instantly fall in love.  I don't get it.  I understand somewhat why the attraction, but it just felt so unbelievable.  There were several times where I just wanted to give up and not finish, but there was that one thing that kept me going.  I am a sucker for trying to figure out mysteries.  but once I reached the end, I was just as confused as I was in the beginning.

I really wished I had fallen in love with Sublime.  It was harder because I couldn't connect with any of the characters. I didn't get any butterflies in my stomach like I normally get and I was just over all disappointed.  But this is just my opinion.  There are several 4 and 5 star reviews on Goodreads. So don't feel discouraged with the book because of my review.  It's just my personal opinion.
