Hardships and heartache brought them together… now it will tear them apart.
Layken and Will have proved their love can get them through anything; until someone from Will’s past re-emerges, leaving Layken questioning the very foundation on which their relationship was built. Will is forced to face the ultimate challenge…how to prove his love for a girl who refuses to stop ‘carving pumpkins.’

This amazing book picks up right where the first book’s epilogue left off, but is now told through Will’s point of view.  He is so sincere and sweet and he is so in love with Layken.  If you thought he was charming in book 1, well just be prepared to fall in love with him all over again in this butterflying fantastic book 2.

After surviving all the heartaches life had thrown at them and the unthinkable responsibilities they now have, Layken and Will stand by each other as a couple and grow stronger together.  Their lives were finally on an upward path, and all was going well until Will’s old flame comes back on the scene.  Layken begins to question if the circumstances she has endured forced Will to be with her or if they were truly destined to be together.  The secondary characters are also wonderful.  They all have well defined personalities and you can’t help but love each and every one of them.

I have so many favorite things from this series, I don’t know where to begin.  I love the “suck and sweet” and I personally think everyone should do this every single day (I won’t say exactly what it is right now, but trust me that you will love it too).  I also would give anything to have a vaseful of stars to guide me through the rough times.  I had never heard of slam poetry until this book, but I am totally going to be attempting one sometime soon. I too have been schooled.

This beautiful story continues to deliver and it also is definitely every bit the emotional rollercoaster as the first book.  I cannot remember the last time I devoured a book the way I have these two from this series.  I love Colleen Hoover’s storytelling.  She is so butterflying talented.
