Ana's Top Book Reads of 2014!

Happy New Year!!!!!  This has been one exciting year for me.  I have read so many incredible books this year that it's going to be pretty hard to narrow it down to 10, but I promise to do my best!
What awesome books have you rad this year and did any of mine make it onto your list?

The White Rabbit Chronicles by Gena Showalter: (Alice In Zombieland #1, Through the Zombie Glass #2 & The Queen of Zombie Hearts #3)

I consider myself really lucky to have been able to read these three books back to back.  Just thinking about having to wait a year in between books, would have killed me.  I absolutely loved every book.  This series grabs you from the very beginning and leaves you wanting more.

The Slammed series by Colleen Hoover: Slammed, Point of Retreat & This Girl

If you know me, you know I am seriously obsessed with Colleen Hoover.   I hate that it took me so long to finally read the series that started it all.  But good things come to those who wait.   This series is absolutely amazing and the characters will instantly become your BFFs.  I have one confession though. *covers eyes*  I still havent read This Girl.  I know!!!  Pam wants to kill me for skipping it, but I promise I will read it soon.  #bookreviewerproblems

Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover

See what I mean?  I am obsessed with Colleen. LOL  Ugly Love is definitely one of my favorite reads this year.  This story ripped my heart out, but somehow Colleen was able to put it back together again.  She is a pro at this.  Plus, have you heard that the there is going to be a movie made and Miles has already been cast?  Check him out!!!! Whatcha think?  I know right!!!!  HOTTTTTT!  He is the perfect Miles!!! HIs  name is Nick Bateman, your'e welcome. ;)

Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover

Okay, okay, this is the last Colleen book, I promise - for 2014 that is! LOL  Maybe someday was amazing! I love everything about it.  The characters, the story line, EVERYTHING! Just like all of Colleen's books, make sure you have tissues handy.

Bright Side by Kim Holden

This is a public service announcement: EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ THIS BOOK!  I repeat, EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ THIS BOOK!  Have you ever read a book in one sitting?  Have you ever been at work and couldn't concentrate on anything else, but that book and what is going to happen next?  Well, Bright Side is that book.  The cover really doesn't do this book justice.  When in all honesty, this book is a little treasure.  So please, make sure you add Bright Side to your TBR list, but make sure it's up on the very top.

The Fifth Wave (The Fifth Wave #1) by Rick Yancey

Wow! This book really took me by surprise! I've had this not so little book since its release day last year when Rick Yancey came to our local indie book store, Books & Books, for his release day, but never got around to reading it.  You know how that is.  But I finally told myself it was time and when I started reading the first page, I couldn't stop.  It was THAT good!

Bully (Fall Away #1) by Penelope Douglas

I was so NOT expecting this book to grab me the way it did.  Wow.  I read it in two days and that's because it was during the week and life got in the way.  If not, I would have read it in a few hours.  It's that good!  So if you haven't started this series yet, make sure you start now because book 4, Falling Away releases January 6th! Make sure you keep an eye out for my reviews!

Red Queen (Red Queen #1) by Victoria Aveyard

THIS BOOK IS ALL KINDS OF AMAZING!!!!!!  You all HAVE to read it!!  It isn't out yet, but you can preorder it now.  This book reminded me of The Jewel by Amy Ewing and Game of Thrones.  I need book #2 like NOW!

Em @ I haven't read anything in this series yet, still wondering whether to start it or not. But seeing all of the raving reviews for both Red Rising and Golden Son I am sorely tempted to pick up this series next!
