My name is Tate. He doesn't call me that, though. He would never refer to me so informally, if he referred to me at all. No, he'll barely even speak to me.
But he still won't leave me alone.
We were best friends once. Then he turned on me and made it his mission to ruin my life. I've been humiliated, shut out, and gossiped about all through high school. His pranks and rumors got more sadistic as time wore on, and I made myself sick trying to stay out of his way. I even went to France for a year, just to avoid him.
But I'm done hiding from him now, and there's no way in hell I'll allow him to ruin my senior year. He might not have changed, but I have. It's time to fight back.

I'm not going to let him bully me anymore.

Wow, I was so NOT expecting that!  Bully is all kinds of amazing.  Book 3, Falling Away releases on January 6, 2015, so I decided to purge and read all the books before Falling Away releases.  At first I was scared that I wouldn't be able to read all the books before then, but after reading Bully, I know I will breeze right through them.  Penelope's writing is amazing and her story telling is superb! I can't wait to start Until You, book #2, which is in Jared's POV!

Jared and Tatum (Tate) were best friends since they were 13 and 14 years old.  But after Jared comes back from visiting his father one summer, things were never the same.  Jared wanted nothing to do with Tate.  He tormented her and bullied her at school.  He never hit her, but words and actions can hurt just as bad if not more.  He spread rumors about her and no one wanted to be friends with her, nor date her.  This went on for 2 years.  Then Tate, spent her junior year of high school in France and when she came back, something was different about Jared.  But she had enough of his crap, so she finally decided to stand up for herself and not run away crying like she did before.

Tate is one kick-ass girl and I love her.  I love the fact that she started to stand up for herself.  Jared had his reasons for treating her so badly, but I still don't agree with them.  He was cruel and mean to Tate, but she never forgot the old Jared who was sweet and gave her butterflies.  She knew something happened to him that summer, because the Jared she knew would never treat her that way.  But like I said, things changed when she got back.  Jared wasn't in the mood to torment her anymore, but Tate wanted revenge, so she started messing with him now.  She got under his skin and it was pretty funny actually.

Even though the characters are still in high school, Bully is NOT a Young Adult read.  Which honestly, is perfect!  High School isn't all rated PG-13.  Teens have to deal with some pretty tough issues now-a-days. Plus the "love" scenes were pretty intense. THEY WERE HOT!!  Or should I say, Jared was HOT! I had to fan myself a few times.  LOL

If you are looking for a book that will grab you from the very beginning and will finish it within a day, Bully is for you!  But I warn you, you will have to buy the rest of the books because you will fall in love with the characters and Penelope's writing.  So now go and get your copy NOW!

Below are all the books in the series.  Just click on the picture and they will take you to Amazon where you can purchase them! I promise you that you will thank me for it!
