Blog Tour + Giveaway: The Storyspinner by Becky Wallace

I loved The Storyspinner and I am so happy and excited to be apart of this tour. Thank you Rockstar Book Tour for hosting.

And don't forget to follow the rest of the tour HERE.
The Storyspinner is like no other fantasy I have ever read. I'm really picky with my fantasy, it's either a hit or a miss. But when I read the description for the Storyspinner I knew this was the book for me AND what really drew my attention was that someone was killing girls that looked like Johanna. I know it's weird but that won me over. In a way it reminded me of Orphan Black because we don't know who's killing them and the suspense was the best past.

Not going to lie, at first the 6 different POVs bothered me because I wanted to know more about two certain characters. but as the story progresses I found myself looking forward to the other characters; I realized that their story was just as important and all their actions have an impact that left me rendered to them. I can honestly say I liked Johana just as much as I did Rafi, Jac, Leao, and Pira.

Speaking of Jo, she lost someone important to her and ever since then her family has been struggling. But all that changes when she meets the prince. Let me tell you, their first encounter wasn't a pleasant one, it was pretty much a fight to survive. I loved the dynamic between Jo and the prince, after said fight, things get even more heated between them like really heated. Also I love love love the fact that Jo and her family are performers, the way Becky described the life of troupe (kinda like a circus but much cooler) had me wanting to jump into the story and do handstands (even though I cant do handstands.)

The world Becky Wallace created is vibrant and full of intrigue and awesome fighting scenes and bantering. Trust me you need to read The Storyspinner ASAP.

Drama and danger abound in this fantasy realm where dukes play a game for the throne, magical warriors race to find the missing heir, and romance blossoms where it is least expected.

In a world where dukes plot their way to the throne, a Performer’s life can get tricky. And in Johanna Von Arlo’s case, it can be fatal. Expelled from her troupe after her father’s death, Johanna is forced to work for the handsome Lord Rafael DeSilva. Too bad they don’t get along. But while Johanna’s father’s death was deemed an accident, the Keepers aren’t so sure.

The Keepers, a race of people with magical abilities, are on a quest to find the princess—the same princess who is supposed to be dead and whose throne the dukes are fighting over. But they aren’t the only ones looking for her. And in the wake of their search, murdered girls keep turning up—girls who look exactly like the princess, and exactly like Johanna.

With dukes, Keepers, and a killer all after the princess, Johanna finds herself caught up in political machinations for the throne, threats on her life, and an unexpected romance that could change everything.

In second grade, Becky Wallace had to sit in the corner because she refused to write anything except princess stories and fairy tales (and because she talked too much).

Her time in isolation gave her plenty of opportunities to dream up the fantasy worlds she’s been dabbling with ever since. She was lucky enough to find her own real-life Prince Charming. They have four munchkins and live in happy little town near Houston, Texas.
