I was shattered to a million pieces while reading A Shattered Moment. Tiffany King broke me, really broke me and I don't know if I'll ever recover. In the first chapter we get an idea of how intense this story will be and my heart broke, I teared up from the emotions Tiffany was evoking in me. I have never ever felt so much while reading just the prologue.
Mac was in a terrible car accident that took away the lives of her closest friends on the night of their high school graduation. How do you move on from something like that? How can you face life when they won't? Those are all questions Mac asks herself and I loved the way Mac finds her answers.
Mac is this secluded girl who wants nothing to do with anyone but then she gets to know Bentley James who help her in such a big way. The strength and courage Mac shows throughout this book will leave you cheering and applauding for her. Believe me when I say you'll see the subtle differences in her social life and it's going to make you smile so so so hard.
Bentley James deserves all hugs and kisses, he has got to be the cutest book boyfriends I've ever had. I really liked Bentley, he was so thoughtful to Mac and didn't push her when she wasn't ready to talk about the accident. All in all he was a great guy and I'm pretty sure everyone will swoon over his adorableness in a couple of the scenes.
I can one hundred percent guarantee that Mac and Bentley's slow-burn romance is worth every page; they had their up and down moments but it was beautiful reading how these two people found each other again after meeting the first time on that fateful night.
Tiffany King worked her magic with A Shattered Moment and created the most beautiful-honest-realest story about healing and love.
