The first in a brand new contemporary romance series starring the men and women who are determined to keep the billion-dollar denim dynasty, Riley O’Brien & Co, on top, but aren’t about to let success stand in the way of love…
Amelia Winger is a small-town girl with big dreams of becoming a successful designer. So when she gets a gig designing accessories for denim empire Riley O’Brien & Co., it’s a dream come true. Amelia can handle the demanding job, but she isn’t quite prepared for sexy CEO Quinn O’Brien. She’s doing her best to keep things professional, but the attraction sparking between them makes it personal. And so does the secret project she's working on behind his back...
Quinn’s not interested in the new accessories, but he is interested in the woman designing them. Amelia is smart, sexy, and talented, and he hasn’t been able to stop thinking about her since they met. Mixing business and pleasure isn’t wise, but that doesn’t stop him from coming up with excuses to spend time with her. He thinks he understands the risk he’s taking when he gets involved with Amelia. But he doesn’t know he’s risking a lot more than his heart.

I was extremely lucky to receive this book from Net Galley prior to being released in exchange for a book review.  I love the fact that I was able to get a sneak peek into the Riley O’Brien & Co. series , because I absolutely fell in love. If you enjoy reading hot contemporary reads, this series will not disappoint! This debut by Jenna Sutton puts her on my personal list of ultimate favorite authors. Trust me when I say, you can count on seeing Ms. Sutton’s books on the NYT best selling list  with this sensuous new series. From the very first few chapters you find yourself falling hard for Amelia Winger the accessory designer entrusted by Quinn O’Brien’s  younger sister  Teagan to bring life to the women’s  division side of Riley O’Brien jeans. As we learn from the read, Quinn has been forced to somewhat take on the role of CEO  in the company since his father’s cancer. Although he hasn’t been given the official title, his younger sister Teagan and brother Cal  are not to pleased with his leadership direction for the company. Ms. Sutton did a phenomenal job of introducing the characters. The characterization was done exceptionally well and the dialogue never seemed boring.

Amelia Winger-   is a strong, independent , self  sufficient aspiring accessory and clothing designer who is on the rise. She is working independently with her best friend/famous country singer Ava Grace. The best friends have been together since childhood due to their similar pasts and upbringing. Amelia is looking for the next big push to bring her designs and ideas to mainstream production. And this is where Quinn’s sister Teagan comes into play. Teagan loves Amelia’s designs and thinks her personal touches can bring to life the failing women’s division of Riley O’Brien jeans. This is where things become somewhat complicated as Teagan introduces Amelia to Quinn to start an accessory line for the company. However, things take a different spin when the chemistry between Amelia and Quinn turns to be too powerful to ignore.

Quinn O’Brien- is a smart, hot, upcoming CEO to a very reputable and respected jean company. Determined to keep the Riley O’Brien & Co. reputation for quality at the top of the industry is his obsession. Quinn will do anything for his passion in bringing the family company afloat. He understands the company needs a change, but he never imagined the change would look so GOOD… Quinn is known by most to be somewhat of an alpha male. And the chemistry between him and Amelia is felt from their very first encounter. Let’s just say Quinn is looking forward to getting Amelia into his own Riley O’Brien jeans…

I give this read 4.5 owls! This rating is based on the fact that the reader will be able to follow the development and growth of Quinn and Amelia’s relationship in a believable and natural fashion. I personally appreciated how Ms. Sutton illustrated and built upon Quinn and Amelia’s strong chemistry. The storyline and plot stayed consistent and true to each character and I found myself constantly ignoring my children, chores, and work life to get one more chapter in before putting the book down.  The characters were carefully developed, the pacing is flawless, and the plot is both truthful and modern.  I couldn’t help but falling in love with the main and secondary characters of this read and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book in the series Coming Apart at the Seams.
