Blair Reynolds has always strived to be a perfect daughter. She tries really hard to do what her parents want and she does it with a smile, to help her fathers’ political career.  Blair comes from a strong political family that is willing to do almost anything to avoid a scandal. So when Blair walks away from her wedding day after finding her cheating groom all hell breaks out! Running away from the shame and embarrassment, she decides to go to law school to somehow try to improve her tainted imagine. But sometimes things don’t always turn out how we plan in this web called life. 

Trying desperately to concentrate and not think about her past, Blair meets her Torts professor Graydon Canter. Graydon is handsome, well educated, and wonderful eye candy! He went from being a kid on the wrong side of town to a well-known powerful attorney in Chicago. Unfortunately for Gray, power and money end up being his biggest downfall and now he is trying desperately to be a stand up professor in law school for a year.  The chemistry and attraction between Blair and Gray is instant. 

Gray knows getting involved with a student is the worst thing he could do to rebuild himself professionally, except their chemistry is way to hot to ignore! And walking away from Blair seems almost impossible. Can these two manage to keep their relationship professional? Or will they forget about their pasts and allow themselves the chance of happiness? This read is just full of explosive addictions that will melt your heart and soul!!!! The character development between these two is exceptional. 

This is actually the second book in the Capital Confessions series and I haven't had the privilege to read the first one yet, however I will definitely be going back to catch up on the series as I really fell in love with the characters. I especially liked Blair with her smart, confident, and strong personality. I also appreciated how the author Chanel Cleeton allowed the reader to truly feel the passion between Blair and Gray.  This is by far a sexy, fun read that can be read as a standalone.  I cannot wait to get my hands on the third book, Falling for Danger due to be released in September!
