This was me when I first heard of Six of Crows. 

So it's been exactly 3 hours since I finished reading Six of Crows and my head is still spinning.  I knew going in that it was going to be great, but I never imagined it being epic.  By far my best read of 2015!  Leigh's creativity and world building is nothing short of amazing.  She literally breathes life into her characters and books. 

Six of Crows is told in six POVs; one chapter for each character.  This is something that could go horribly wrong, but Leigh is a master and it was perfect! Actually, I think it was necessary for the book. Yes, that's a lot of POVs, but we get to see what everyone is thinking and doing during all the chaos. Believe me, you want to know.  And even though we have the different POVs, Leigh managed to sneak in a few twists in there that I have to say, totally caught me off guard. I am going to get you for that Ms. BARDUGO! LOL 

Romance

I wouldn't say there's romance per say, but there is a lot of chemistry.  A lot. There are two couples that I know for sure, and there is another that I believe is there too, but it wasn't so straight forward.  I think they have feelings for each other, but don't want to either admit it to themselves or the other. I am really curious as to how that "couple" flourishes. 

Action 

HECK YEAH!!!! This whole book is action packed, especially the second half of the book!  I was literally at the edge of my seat the entire time.  I didn't know if I wanted to continue reading or take a break from all the craziness.  

Twists and Turns:

Leigh got me and she got me good!  There is one scene that just broke me.  Literally.  I had to stop reading and just stare at the page with my mouth wide open, thinking, "this didn't just happen?"  I swear I felt my heart shatter at that moment.  I will get you for that! LOL

Ending:

I NEED BOOK 2!!! All I know is that that next book is going to be awesome.  Kaz is fierce and he is on a mission and seeking vengeance.  There is no stopping him and with his team of crows, he will make the ice castle's mission look like child's play.
