I felt that just by looking at the cover of this book that it was going to be a fun, sexy, romantic read. This book proved to be a great read that I found myself cuddling up with some wine and a warm blanket and letting myself fall into the story.

I was not fully in love with the story but there was enough stuff there for me grasp on and to go along with. I wanted more and I was happy I waited because the ending came through for me. There were little bumps in the road for me with the story but I found myself loving the characters.

Roxy and Lake are both characters that you want to love, hug, yell at, maybe give a smack here and then but overall just want to meet. Roxy has a past that she seems to have a tight hold on, thus making her relationship with Lake harder than it should be. However, as infuriating as this sounds Lake was the same way. The relationship between these two were bumpy but the ending connected everything and made me smile my way through the end.

Overall this book talked about the mistakes people make and being able to move past them. I am so glad to have been offered the chance to read this book and I am highly looking forward to reading more books by this author.
