A well written, quick, and easy read.

Even though this is the second book in a series, each of the books can be read as stand alones. Yay!

I was completely smitten with Everly from the start. She is such a phenomenal female protagonist. She's funny and spunky. She has a good head on her shoulders and a larger than life heart. She knows what she wants in life and goes after it, no holds barred. She knows who she is as a person and as a woman, and makes no apologies. She is 100% confident in who she is. She refuses to settle. Though we know she and her mother had a difficult past, it in no way hinders her. Her past shaped her into the woman she is, and she likes who she is. The memories of her past drive her to become a better person through her volunteerism. The one quirk she has, is that she really, really, really, really dislikes ALL rich people. To the point of prejudice.

Enter Ambrose. A gorgeous, dominate male. Rich, and keeping it a secret from Everly.

Ambrose was not as dominate as I would have liked him to be, but I still found him to be enjoyable. He is a bit broken from his past relationship, and he can't seem to move on, or get over it, until Everly comes into his life. But even then, he lets his past hurt dictate the way he interacts with Everly. It takes some convincing from his friends Banner and Konstantine in order for him to pursue Everly. Things get especially sticky, with all the lies and Houdini acts he has to pull in order to perpetuate his lie with Everly.

The sex scenes between Ambrose and Everly are sinfully delicious. I'd like to know where I can sign up!

I cannot wait for the third installment! We are going to get Konstantine!
