The New York Times bestselling author of On Dublin Street returns to the bar where it all began with Braden and Joss for a white-hot new novella full of passion and drama.
When he’s not working at the club, Craig Lanaghan looks out for his mother and little sisters. So when it comes to women, all he wants is a good time. But once Rain Alexander walks into his life, there’s no denying that this woman could be worth much more than a one-night stand….
Rain’s lifelong regret is having left her sister Darcy alone years ago with a guardian who turned out to be abusive. So when Darcy’s boyfriend publicly humiliates her in a cruel way, Rain’s overprotective instincts kick in and she follows him to Club 39—where she meets a guy who just might be her perfect match.
The chemistry between Rain and Craig is explosive, but Rain is out for revenge, and refuses to be sidetracked by flirtation. As things between them heat up, she’ll have to make a heartbreaking choice between giving in to the man of her dreams or putting her sister’s happiness first.
I was super excited when I found out that there was going to be another book in Samantha's On Dublin Street series.  You all know how much I adore her! I really liked One King's Way.  Although, in my opinion, it wasn't as good as the other books in the series.  I felt like there was some angst missing and it felt a little predictable.

I am really happy that Craig got his book too!  He also deserved his HEA. My favorite of the two main characters, has to be Rain.  I absolutely loved her style.  I could picture her as this gorgeous 1940's pinup model. She did though, annoy me at times.

There was some romance, but not the swoon worthy type.  One thing I realy appreciated was that there wasn't that insta-love, that I despise in romance novels.  No one falls madly in love after seeing a person once.  Lust and attraction, yes, but not love. But that's just  my opinion.

Overall the story was great.  I just felt like the story went a different direction from what I expected. I thought it would have more about Rain and her revenge against her sister's ex.  I felt like she abandoned that idea as soon as she met Craig.  I understand that Craig made her realize that revenge was not the answer and to just let it go.  But, I felt like there could have been some more to that aspect of the story.  But other than that, I really enjoyed ONE KING'S WAY.
