The Winner's Trilogy has got a new look.
I haven't read this series so I'm okay with the cover changes since I'm not emotionally invested but I know A LOT of other readers prefer the original covers.
You never know maybe the publisher will release the original hardcover later on.

I have a lot of feelings about it and most of them are negative. That mostly has to do with the fact that it doesn't meld with who the character is. I go into it in more detail in my own post about it, you can check it out if you want http://booklovingnut.blogspot.com/2015/12/cover-change-rant-winners-kiss.html
ReplyDeleteBut basically I think it was a really hasty job done without consideration of the actual story itself.
I really hate it when publishers do this. Especially in the middle of a series. Not only am I book lover, but I like to collect them too. So when they go and change the covers like this, it makes me mad because now my books don't match. I also agree with you. Plus, the covers remind me of the Throne of Glass Series by Sarah J. Maas. They are almost identical.

DeleteI love fantasy and I have not heard of these books. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI read the first book and I really liked it. I want to wait until all the books are out so I can binge read them because the first one sort of ended in a cliffhanger and I hate that. LOL
