When I heard that Brighton Walsh had a new book in the Reluctant Hearts series, I knew I had to get my hands on it. I love Brighton’s books so much! She is amazing at creating such memorable characters and super hot and sexy men! Seriously, if you haven't started this series, you really need to because it’s so good! So I want you all to meet Adam Reid. This is the picture that Brighton posted on Tublr on who she thought most resembled Adam and boy does he ever! That look! All he needs are some glasses.
The story starts a few months after Tessa Ever After ended. If you remember reading it, you remember how Paige and Adam hooked up. Well, Adam is back in town to help his parents with the family business. Paige doesn't really know what to do. She has had many one night stands and this is the first time she hasn't been able to stop thinking about the guy. But can you blame her? I mean, this guy is perfect! The only problem is that he will only be in town for the summer and then he will be leaving back home to Colorado. Plus, Paige doesn't do relationships. Adam on the other hand, has only been in relationships. Different, right? It's usually the guy that doesn't do relationships. But don't let the sweetness fool you because he is an alpha in the bedroom! This boy has a dirty mouth when it's time to get freaky! That's just more of a reason to love my Boo! Paige is also pretty amazing. I love how she sticks up for herself and how she doesn't put up with people's crap. Growing up with two older brothers, I am sure she had no choice but to toughen up.
Adam does everything in his power to try to change Paige's mind. But he does it in a way that it won't scare her away. Geeeeeze! This guy just melts my heart! He's so patient and caring. I mean, of course Paige can't stay away from him!
Each book in this series can be read as a standalone, but I strongly suggest you read them all and in order. I promise you won't be disappointed. All of the characters will stay with you long after you finish reading their book. So go and get them all!!
