I love Sparrow Beckett. Whenever I am contacted about reviewing their books, I immediately jump on it. I always enjoy their books, and Stealing His Thunder was no different.
Stealing His Thunder made me laugh out loud so many times. Addison is freaking hysterical! She is a super intelligent college student (engineering), who spends her time training herself to become a car thief!
The book opens with Addison trying out a new tech gadget she built, that will make stealing cars easier. However, she soon finds that the Lexus she is attempting to steal, has already been claimed by Fox, our resident bad boy and car thief extraordinaire.
Their encounter is brief, but hella explosive, tense, awkward and downright hilarious.
The shit that comes out of Addison's mouth throughout the book, and how Fox responds to her outlandishness, is some of the most amusing dialogue I have ever read.
Sex between Addison and Fox is phenominal. I wish all sex scenes were this well written.
Addison and Fox are two of the most lovable, entertaining, and funny characters that I have ever read about. If they were real people, I would want to be their friend.
Stealing His Thunder should be at the top of your summer reads pile. Everything that you could want from a steamy summer smut read can be found in this book.
