Movie Review: Me Before You

I have been wanting to go see Me Before You ever since I saw the first trailer.  Unlike many of you, I haven’t read the book yet. But after seeing the movie yesterday, believe me that is my number one priority now, along with the second book.

My review will be from a non-reader. I loved it! LOL  I honestly can say that I loooooved every since thing about the movie. The scenery, the cast, the acting, the humor, the love story, the meaning behind the story, EVERYTHING! Did I hate the ending, no. Was I sad about it? Sad is an understatement, but I understood it.  Can’t say much about the ending, because I don’t want to ruin it for the rest of you who haven’t yet seen or read it. Let’s just say that I saw the movie at 11:15AM and I had no backup with me to talk to and hold my hand. I cried like a baby right along with everything in the theatre. But is wasn’t until I was back in my car in the parking lot that I lost my sh*t! I mean, I completely lost it.  Emilia Clarke (Louisa Clark) was stunning and completely adorable! I saw a different side of her from what I am used to on Game of Thrones. Her smile is contagious and her quirkiness and super cute chatter mouth tendencies, made me fall in love with her even more. What an amazing actress! And let’s not forget about Sam Claflin (Will Traynor). I can only imagine how difficult it has to have been for him to play Will’s role. He was amazing and let me tell you, he has the most gorgeous and contagious smile ever.  There is no wonder “Louisa” fell for him.

I cannot recommend Me Before You enough.  It’s an incredible love story that I will forever treasure in my heart. I can’t stop thinking about the story and the characters.  I think I just need to dive into the book and read it, but I don’t know how much more pain my heart can take at this point.  Having to relive all that heartache, is going to be brutal.
