With more than 200 adorable photos of baby animals and their families, there's serious "aw" factor on every page of Animal Planet Baby Animals. This fun addition to the Animal Bites series provides kids in the first years of schooling with the perfect bite-sized view of their favorite animals. Arranged thematically with a focus on animal behavior and family relationships, young readers will explore sections about life cycles, feeding, play time, conservation, getting around, and so much more. Special book features designed for this age group include simple infographics and 'All Grown Up' animal facts to help kids learn more about how young and adult animals differ- just like humans!

For more Animal Bites books, check out Animal Planet Ocean Animals, Animal Planet Polar Animals, Animal Planet Wild Animals, Animal Planet Farm Animals, and Animal Planet Animals on the Move.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of books in the Animal Bites series benefits the principal partners of R.O.A.R. (Reach Out. Act. Respond.), Animal Planet's initiative dedicated to improving the lives of animals in our communities and in the wild.

I have to start by mentioning that these books are so cool! We received the Baby Animals as well as Animals on the Move for review. My littles love looking at animal and nature books, so receiving these two books was very exciting!

The pictures are high quality and stunning. The pages are full of, not only gorgeous pictures of animals, but also interesting facts and little tidbits about the animals themselves. We loved looking through the books to see the pictures and also learning something new about each animal as we read through. We've looked through these a few times and they are so packed with facts and gorgeous photos that each time we look through, we learn something new.

Even though the age suggestion on these books is 7-10, my 4 year old and 1.5 year old still had a lot of fun looking at the animals and learning their names. In Baby Animals we talked about what the baby animals looked like in comparison to their adult parents. We also talked about the different animals habitats in both books. In Animals on the Move we talked about how different animals move and if there was a race which animal would win. Although, the age range is 7-10, I’d say that any age could get some fun use out of this book and there's plenty to look at and learn about for everyone. Even I learned a few new things reading these books!

To make reading these books extra fun, the publisher has made activity sheets for all 6 books that can increase your learning experience and interaction with these awesome books. You can access the activity sheets in this dropbox, by clicking here

Something super cool the publisher has going with these books is that with each book bought a portion of the proceeds benefits the principal partners of R.O.A.R. (Reach Out. Act. Respond.), which is Animal Planet's initiative dedicated to improving the lives of animals in our communities and in the wild. With Earth day being tomorrow, what a perfect way to celebrate than by purchasing a book to learn and support the environment!

Also really cool is that the publisher has offered to give away a set of all 6 books! This giveaway is US only. The whole set includes Animal Planet Ocean Animals, Animal Planet Polar Animals, Animal Planet Wild Animals, Animal Planet Farm Animals, Animal Planet Animals on the Move, and of course, Animal Planet Baby Animals.
