Top Ten Book Boyfriends

* Top Ten Tuesdays (TTT) is a weekly event hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. * * This week's TTT is: Top Ten Book Boyfriends/Girlfriend. This list was a little hard to narrow down, I mean there's so many out there. Here's my Top Ten Book Boyfriends (not listed by numbers because I'm not sure I can rank them)

Arin from The Winner's Curse trilogy
I couldn't get enough of Arin while reading. He's quiet yet strong. He's secretly artistic. He's loyal. He's a humble warrior. He's definitely one of my favorites.

Will Herondale from The Infernal Devices
I don't even know what to say about Will. He had me head over heels from the beginning. Not only did I love seeing him through his relationship with Tessa, but also his friendship with Jem.

Rhysand from A Court of Thorns and Roses
I think most of you guys know why Rhysand is on this list. He's an incredible leader and a deep care-giver. I definitely didn't see him coming and I'm not at all disappointed.

Levi from Fangirl
Levi is one of my favorite guys. He's fun and open, encouraging and down to earth. He's perfect.

Perry from Under the Never Sky trilogy
I'm not sure where to begin with Perry. He's not perfect, but that's one of his charming qualities. He is a bit stubborn but does admit he's wrong. He is one of the most realistic book boyfriends.

Jon Snow from A Song of Ice and Fire
Jon was my book boyfriend before the show aired, but I did fall for him even more after seeing Jon Snow on the screen, played by Kit. I haven't finished the series, I'm only about halfway. I loved Jon's strength and resilience right from the beginning.

Joshua Templeman from The Hating Game
I wasn't sure about Josh at first, but seeing him with Lucy had me liking him quite a lot. They're relationships is one of the sweetest love to hate relationships I have ever read.

Alucard from A Darker Shade of Magic series
I know that Alucard is perfect with someone.. I won't break that ship. But I did love Alucard the first time he showed up.

Jase from Swear on This Life
Jase caught me by complete surprise. I think the flip backs in the story from Jase and Emiline's childhood to present day is what made Jase become a book boyfriend. He was also so caring and in love with Emiline.

Nikolai from the Shadow and Bone trilogy
I am stoked that Nikolai is getting his own book. Did you hear the news?! It's been awhile since I read this series, but I definitely haven't forgotten about Nikolai and always wanted to hear more of his story.

  3. Yes, Will, Rhysand, Levi. All wonderful men, but I love that you have Josh on your list! He was the heart of that book for me. He was not the open book that Lucy was, so every little bit of himself that he revealed, was so much more meaningful, and when he revealed his heart, it gave it fully. Loved him!

  6. I haven't read any of these, but I have seen Game of Thrones on tv, and Jon Snow is by far my favorite character. I plan on tackling the books at some point. Here is my Top Ten Tuesday.

  8. Levi from Fangirl and Perry from Under the Never Sky are great picks ! I think part of Perry’s appeal is while being a realistic flawed BF, he’s not a lost cause and they had to grow and evolve as people individually and then as couple in that series. Love that series so much!

  10. Woo! All the book boyfriends that make the community swoon! I feel like every time someone completed this I was like, scratching my head, "HOW COULD I FORGET SO AND SO?" and for your list it was definitely Arin.
