Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books with a Spooky word in the title

* Top Ten Tuesdays (TTT) is a weekly event hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. * * This week's TTT is:  a Halloween Freebie. I've chosen to do ten books with a Halloween word in the title. These aren't all Halloween-type books, just incase you wanted to pick them up after Halloween. (Click on the book covers to be taken to the book's Goodreads page)

Little Monsters The Ghostwriter A Head Full of Ghosts  Curses and Smoke The Vanishing
The Haunting of Hill House These Shallow Graves Black Bird of the Gallows

Three Dark Crowns (Three Dark Crowns, #1)  The Dreadful Tale of Prosper Redding (The Dreadful Tale of Prosper Redding #1)

  1. I read Black Bird of the Gallows last month and really loved it. Plus the cover is gorgeous.

  2. Fun spin on today's topic! Love that you choose the books by their titles. :)

I've seen 'Shallow Graves' around a lot, but haven't ever read it - it seems to be a popular book though. 'Crowns' is one I'm sort of curious about, and Litter Monsters has been populating Twitter lately.

  3. OOh nice ones! Anna Dressed in Blood, The Dead House, and Doomed also come to mind! I mean Doomed pretty much speaks for itself in spookiness! LOL!
