Some secrets can never stay hidden for long...
Six teenagers meet in Saturday detention: a brain, a beauty, a cheerleader, a rebel, a recluse, and the new girl.
But someone is watching. Someone has made sure that they are all in the same room at the same time. Someone knows that each of them is hiding a terrible secret...
...and by the end of detention, everyone will know the truth.

Where do I start with this awesome book.. let's start with the suspense. It is suspenseful from the beginning to the end. Six Little Secrets is one of the best suspense novels that I have ever read. If you love mystery and suspense novels, then you should check this one out!
When I started reading this book, it reminded me so much of The Breakfast Club movie based in the 80s. I am that old, as I enjoyed the movie when I was just a kid and I still enjoy this movie to this day. The setting in the novel was based inside a school in the library. Similar to The Breakfast Club. That's where the similarities start to diverge as the characters go through much different circumstances.
I loved all the characters except one that left me feeling a bit uneasy. I enjoyed the way that each character was introduced in their own section of the book where we find out how they ended up in detention on a Saturday in the library. I loved learning about each of the characters' family life, school friends, and their bad habits. We also start to learn about how each of them are connected, which is where things start to get really good!
I thought the writing was amazing. The way that Katlyn Duncan told the story made you feel like you were right there as one of the characters, like you present in the library with them. The book went by so fast, there was absolutely no slow parts.
In this novel, I started to realize how funny life can be. You can make one mistake and it can haunt you for the rest of your life or ruin somebody else's life. And that, sometimes in life you should pay attention to everything around you because you never know what might happen and how it can affect everybody around you. Or otherwise know, as karma.
I would reread this book again because it was so deliciously good. I've never read anything by Katlyn Duncan before, but I would love to read another one of her books. Hopefully a sequel to this book.

Katlyn Duncan was born and raised in a small town in New England. Her overactive imagination involved invisible friends, wanting to be a Disney Princess and making up her own stories. Her bibliophile mom always encouraged her love of reading and that stayed with her ever since. Even though she works full time in the medical field Katlyn has always made time for books, whether she is reading or writing them.
