Home on leave in sunny California, Marine and local lothario Kit Ryan finds himself dangerously drawn to his best friend's sister, Jesse - the one girl he can't have.
But Kit's not about to let a few obstacles stand in his way and soon Jessa's falling for his irresistible charms.

What starts out as a summer romance of secret hook-ups and magical first times quickly develops into a passionate love affair that turns both their worlds upside down.

When summer's over and it's time for Kit to redeploy, neither Kit nor Jesse are ready to say goodbye. Jessa's finally following her dreams and Kit's discovered there's someone he'd sacrifice everything for.

Jessa's prepared to wait for Kit no matter what. But when something more than distance and time rips them apart, they're forced to decide whether what they have is really worth fighting for.

Come Back to Me was a really great book from the beginning all the way to the end. Reading it made me feel happy and giddy inside. It was like reading one of my life stories growing up and it felt so relatable that a lot of other people would feel that way while reading too. I was immediately pulled in from the very first page. While continuing on in the book, I knew it was going to be amazing.

I really loved the characters in the book. They were very energetic and I loved how they were always looking ahead to their future. The never stopped living and they lived live to the fullest. I fell in love with all the characters, but Kit and Jessa were my favorites. They formed my favorite part of the book; their relationship. They had this certain bond that you might never have with anybody in your life. What stood out to me among the characters was the relationship between Jessa and Riley. They were best friends and also brother and sister. I wish I had this kind of relationship with my brother but things happen in life and it pulls people away from each other. My sister and I are best friends and we talk everyday.

Mila Gray's writing within this book is outstanding. She brought out feelings with that characters that I also felt while reading the book. The way she explained the story between Riley and his sister or their father and Kit was so real. Every was perfect on every page all the way till the end of the story. They book was a quick one that could be finished in one sitting. I had to put down the book because of work but all I could think about was going home to finish it. I had never heard of this author or read anything by her before but I know this won't be the last book I read by her.

I loved this book and hope you love it as much as I do. I couldn't put this book down and I don't think that you will be able to either. This author is fantastic and I already went and ordered her next book to this series that I hope I can read soon. Happy Reading to you Owls.
