I have been in love with faeries every since I was a little girl. I was fascinated about their world and I loved everything about them. The Faerie Handbook, brought back all that love back. Everything about this book is gorgeous. The cover is textured and beautiful pages are fore-edged in silver. Oh, and let me tell you, this book is heavy! LOL
One of the many things I love about it are all the gorgeous illustrations and pictures. There are pictures of stunning dresses with tiny flowers just like something a faerie would wear. I can totally see someone wearing anyone of these dresses at their wedding. I mean just look at them!

Then I can totally see this as the reception too! It's this picture just magical??!

Look at these purple star cookies! Are they cute? Well, you can totally make them too because there's even a recipe for them!

I'm telling you, this book has it all! It's magical and beautiful! It's also a great holiday gift for someone who loves anything whimsical!

Carolyn Turgeon is the author of five novels: Rain Village (2006), Godmother: The Secret Cinderella Story (2009), Mermaid (2011), which is being developed for film by Sony Pictures, the middle-grade The Next Full Moon (2012), and her latest, The Fairest of Them All (2013). She edits Faerie Magazine and teaches fiction writing at the University of Alaska at Anchorage's Low-Residency MFA program.
