* Top Ten Tuesdays (TTT) is a weekly event hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. * * This week's TTT is: Ten Books We Meant To Read In 2017 But Didn't Get To. This is a pretty easy list to make; there are always so many books I mean to read but didn't get to. The biggest reason I didn't get to these is my mood reading. But! I do hope that I will be reading these this year.

This is the number one book that I wanted to read last year and didn't get to. But it's still high up on my want to read list.

I think I'm just holding on to this series and not wanting it to end. I've been "reading" this book for the better part of last year. I'm loving it but for some reason I just can't finish it. I will this year though, I know that.

This book was on my tbr list for quite a bit last year. And it still is. I really want to get to reading this one this year.

I think it was mostly the many pages that made me hesitate to pick this one up. But I really did want to read this one in the fall and winter. However, it's still winter, so I suppose there is still time.

Assassin's Apprentice and all the other Robin Hobb books
One of my dearest friends absolutely love these books. I started this as a series read-a-long and my mood reading struck again. I do hope to dive back into this book this year and keep reading more of Robin Hobb's work.

I think I have the same kind of not-wanting-this-series-to-end feeling, same as A Conjuring of Light. I need to buckle down and find out what happens with all these characters that have become so dear to me.

This was one of my most anticipated releases and I don't know how I didn't get to reading this one last year. The cover looks so wintery, hoping I can get around to reading it this winter.

This is another most anticipated release that I don't know how I didn't get to reading. But it has been around in my head since then. Here's to reading it this year.
There are also some classics that I wanted to read last year and didn't end up getting around to..
Jane Austen
I have only read one Jane Austen and I wanted to read more last year.
the Brontes
This is the same as Austen, I have only read one Bronte book and similarly, I wanted to read more.
Virginia Woolf
I haven't read any Virginia Woolf and I really wanted to change that last year, but I didn't get around to it.
(I know, there's 11.. by the time I realized I couldn't cut just one off the list ;) )

Oh nice! I waited to binge Six of Crowns and Crooked Kingdom together! I prefer doing that with duologies when I can. That being said, I still have one to finish this year and one that I didn't get around to last year as well! Lol! So it doesn't always work that way!
