Top Ten Tuesdays (TTT) is a weekly event now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's TTT is: Top Ten Bookish Worlds I'd Want To/Never Want To Live In. This was a fun topic to think about the different worlds that I have visited while reading. I ended up choosing Ten Worlds that I'd Want to Live In (or visit).

Alosa's ship in Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller
It would be such an amazing experience to see the world and the ocean while on Alosa's ship. I love the way she empowers and values her crew.
London in A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab
This world is incredible. Not only would it be awesome to see London, but to see different versions of London would be so cool.
Elian's ship in To Kill a Kingdom by Alexandra Christo
Okay, I know I put two ships in this list. When I finished this book, I had a new book boyfriend. So I'd definitely take the chance to be on Elian's ship.
Cabeswater in The Raven Boys series by Maggie Stiefvater
This magical forest was such an incredible image while reading the books. I kept getting the urge to visit Cabeswater and see it all for myself.
Wonderland from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll
What a place to visit! I love the imagery and adventures that Wonderland has to offer.
Hogwarts in the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling
The magic! The food! I think my letter got lost in the mail.
Furthermore in Furthermore by Tahereh Mafi
This is a tricky one because this world can be dangerous at times, but I love it. The new adventures, the completely unique place. It sounds like a cool place to see.
The Deepwoods in The Edge Chronicles by Paul Stewart and Chris Riddell
This is similar to Furthermore in that it can be dangerous at times. But the world is so imaginative that it would be a great adventure to see.
The realm of Alera in Furies of Calderon by Jim Butcher
I would love the chance to see the Furies and see the magic that this world holds up close.
The Night Court from A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas
What an incredible place! The mountains and the stars and the way that Maas described the smells and the food. This place sounds so wonderful.

Wonderland would be amazing to visit! So much fun.

Ooh nice picks! I chose Night Court and Hogwarts too! And really everywhere in Harry Potter! Wonderland was a tough one to think over. I fear I would go mad rather quickly there what with all the insanity! Lol!

Have a GREAT day!
Old Follower :)
Hogwarts for the win! That would be one heck of an experience.
ReplyDeleteHere is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
I'd be happy to visit Red London, and perhaps Grey London, but not White or Black! I'd also love to visit Hogwarts and the Night Court, and of course Cabeswater.
