Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Should Have DNF'd

Top Ten Tuesdays (TTT) is a weekly event now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's TTT is: Books I Decided to DNF (did not finish) too Quickly. I had a hard time coming up with books for this topic. I don't usually dnf books and if I do, its usually because of my mood reading. So I'm talking about Books I Should Have DNF'd.

Here are some reasons I should have dnf'd the following books:
- I picked the book up knowing I wasn't in the mood and powered through, but didn't end up enjoying it.
- I didn't connect to any of the characters
- I didn't enjoy any aspect of the book
- It was overhyped
- It was all over the place in structure and plot
- It had a ton of unreal stereotypes in it

now the books...

The Square Root of Summer 13 Ways of Looking at a Fat Girl Four Letter Word (Dirty Deeds, #1) Winter Town
Now and Forever Need (Need, #1) Hunger (Riders of the Apocalypse, #1) Wake (Wake, #1)
The Light We Lost The Coma

  1. Those are all fairly new to me ones. I've debated over Lisa McMann's books in the past though.

    Here's my Tuesday Post

  3. Great list! I haven't heard of some of these books. I'll be honest, I'm with you on "Wake"--it almost made my list but I ended up deciding on a different title that I DNF that I felt pretty strongly about.
