Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Favorite Platonic Relationships in Books

Top Ten Tuesdays (TTT) is a weekly event now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week's TTT is: Top Ten Favorite Platonic Relationships in Books.

Aria and Roar from Under the Never Sky trilogy
One of my favorite parts while reading this series was watching Aria and Roar's friendship grow throughout the books.

The Weasley family and Harry, Hermione and Ron from the Harry Potter series
I love all the relationships in Harry Potter. I love seeing Harry, Hermione and Ron's relationship develop throughout the books. I also love seeing the Weasley family throughout the books, they are such a lovely family that I always wanted to be a part of.

Lara Jean and her family from To All the Boys I've Loved Before
This family is so real and remind me a lot of mine. I have two sisters (and a brother). I also love the sister's dad throughout the stories.

Simon and his family from Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda
This family! They felt so authentic and real. As a mom, the scene between Simon and his mom moved me to tears.

Will and Jem from The Infernal Devices series
This friendship nearly killed me while reading these books. Just thinking about these two makes me want to re-read the books.

Katniss and Finnick from The Hunger Games trilogy
What a friendship from what seems the most unlikely of people. The banter between these two and seeing their camaraderie develop was one of my favorite parts of the series.

Kell and Rhy from A Darker Shade of Magic series
This brother relationship is another that nearly killed me while reading this series. The love that these two have for each other and the sacrifices they made on each other's behalf nearly ripped my heart out  a few times.

The Raven Boys from The Raven Cycle series
This group of friends was a joy to follow. It's not too often you find a whole group of friends that you feel personally invested in while reading their story - this was one of those times for me.

The Six Crows (Kaz, Nina, Inej, Jesper, Matthias and Wylan) from The Six of Crows
This group! I loved seeing what each member brought to the table and seeing how they each bring something that makes them, collectively, so strong.

Frodo and Samwise from The Lord of the Rings trilogy
What a pair these two make. It has been rare to see such a strong friendship that lasts through so many tests of their strength as individuals and as a united front against the tasks that come their way.
